The schoolhouse theme runs throughout the experience, allowing designers to turn familiar locations and imagery into something considerably darker. Detailed scenery is one of Dent’s signatures, with classrooms, hallways and other environments packed with enough visual detail that the attraction even offers special lights-on tours for guests who want to see the sets without monsters hunting them.
The 2026 season marks 30 seasons of screams for The Dent Schoolhouse, an impressive milestone for an attraction that has become a Cincinnati Halloween institution.
Dent also extends its calendar beyond the main Halloween event with experiences including Lights Out, ghost tours, behind-the-scenes tours and A Christmas Nightmare.
