Inside a more than 120-year-old factory in South Philadelphia waits one of Pennsylvania’s most atmospheric haunted attractions.
Fright Factory transforms approximately 25,000 square feet of industrial space into three connected horror experiences: Industrial Nightmare, South Side Sanatorium and Fright Factory UnHoly.
The location does much of the heavy lifting before the monsters even arrive. Old industrial architecture gives the attraction a naturally unsettling personality that fits perfectly with its collection of dark corridors, abandoned spaces and supernatural environments.
Industrial Nightmare turns the factory itself into a dystopian horror environment. South Side Sanatorium moves into asylum-inspired psychological horror, while UnHoly brings demonic forces into a corrupted cathedral setting.
The three themes form one continuous experience, keeping guests moving from one nightmare into another without much opportunity to relax.
For haunt fans who appreciate gritty environments and aggressive scares, Fright Factory remains one of Philadelphia’s Halloween staples.
